Sr. Loss Prevention Specialist
MA - Boston
Position Summary:
Primarily responsible for protecting the assets of the company, by conducting internal and external loss theft investigations, to review all branch operative transactions for policy compliance, and to maintain the physical security of the buildings.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct vandalism investigations, gather evidence, and prepare reports for legal resolution
- Review company exception base data, and investigate account trends to address internal and external theft related concerns
- Perform machine integrity checks and employee vehicle inspections per program requirements
- Participate in the monthly safety committee meetings to address safety-related policies
- Participate in the monthly branch business team meetings to convey loss prevention related objectives
- Participate on the monthly facilities inspection audit to address policy concerns
- Investigate account-specific revenue issues in partnership with internal staff, and account property management
- Maintains the physical security of the facilities
- Partner with Director of Loss Prevention on all departmental matters for review protocols
- Conducts field location visits to address machine revenue concerns as needed
- Properly document, prepare, and submit investigation reports in a timely manner
- Partner with local law enforcement authorities to resolve criminal matters, per LP Director approval only
- Participate in the quarterly inventory of machines and parts
Required Education & Experience:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school; and 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to read, comprehend and understand instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write correspondence such as individual and small group e-mails
- Mathematical skills
