Job Title: Director Procurement & Supply Chain
Position Overview:
The ideal Procurement & Supply Chain Director is a dynamic thought leader with experience and a strategic vision who will successfully lead & transform CSC’s Equipment Supply Chain & Purchasing team into a best in class operation. He/ She will own development and implementation of latest procurement, distribution & supply chain strategies and technologies for laundry & air equipment that will lead into lower total cost of ownership, optimized inventory levels, improve supplier terms, maximize productivity, improve fill rate, reduce lead-time, and drive efficiencies within the finished goods distribution operations.

In this newly created role, leading the purchasing team, you will be empowered and inspired to do your best work. Your days will include:
- Leading development and implementation of procurement strategies as it relates to supplier identification, selection, qualification, contacts negotiation, cost, quality, and delivery
- Overseeing equipment distribution and supply chain, leading a purchasing team of 5, and managing daily activities in support of laundry and air equipment distribution across 80+ branches.
- Developing the procurement strategy and execution path that will reduce & optimize inventory levels, reduce lead-time, and improve fill rate. This is executed through collaboration with cross-functional & branch team members and the fostering of best practices, driving operational excellence, and excellent internal/external customer service.
- Build a pipeline of a supply chain initiatives and productivity projects to achieve year over year department inventory and cost savings goals.
- Develop fulfillment strategy, optimum inventory level by branch, and forecast model for commercial & residential laundry units that will ailing with the sales and growth plan for the in-home, Super Laundry, and commercial laundry book of business
- Proactively work with branches to transfer excess equipment vs. purchasing new equipment across the branch network. Weekly monitor inventory levels by branch to ensure running at optimum level.
- Work closely with equipment manufacturers to ensure compliance with delivery terms or orders lead-time
- Identify latest supply chain technologies such as procure to pay and JIT techniques to automate ordering process and substantially reduce manual entries.
- Drive best practice improvement across equipment ordering process, analytics, forecast, planning tool optimization, and cross functional communication.
- Develop and continuously maintain reports for top categories/SKU’s & suppliers spend, savings, monitor inventory trends, potential obsolescence, and SKU rationalization opportunities.
- Partner with key functions (Rebuild centers, Technology, Sales, Branches) to ensure aligned priorities, continuous improvement, as we drive towards achieving targeted inventory reduction goals

In this role, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering or other relevant fields
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years in procurement (direct / indirect), supply chain, and inventory management in a high-volume environment
- Procurement & Supplier account management preferred
- Minimum 5 years managing a supply chain team
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
