As the Director of Supply Chain and Distribution, you’ll be an important part of what works.
In this newly created role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing distribution and supply chain strategies/technologies for laundry/air parts and air equipment leading to
substantially reduced inventory, improved supplier terms, maximized productivity, lower total cost of ownership, improved fill rate, reduced lead-time, and efficiencies within the parts distribution operations.
Your days will include:
- Overseeing the distribution supply chain and managing daily activities of the team in support of laundry/air parts and air equipment distribution across all branches and rebuild centers.
- Developing distribution strategies and the execution path to optimize parts operations and substantially reduce parts inventory across the system .
- Driving the execution of the strategy through fostering best practices, driving operational excellence, and providing excellent internal/external customer service.
- Building a pipeline of a supply chain initiatives and productivity projects to achieve year over year department inventory and savings goals.
- Working closely with Branches to identify and grow after-market parts penetration.
- Identifying the latest supply chain technologies (i.e., procure to pay, JIT techniques, etc.,) to automate the ordering process.
- Driving best practice improvements across the parts ordering processes, analytics, forecasting, planning tool optimization, and cross functional communication.
- Developing and continuously maintaining reports for: top categories/SKU’s and suppliers spend, savings, inventory trends, potential obsolescence, and SKU rationalization opportunities.
- Building a process that will ensure timely collection of all parts warranty credit claims.
- Partnering with key functions (Rebuild centers, Technology, Sales, Branches) to ensure aligned priorities and continuous improvement.
- Working closely with other department managers to solve complex issues and challenges.

In this role, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field; or 10+ years’ experience in ; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5 years people management experience required in supply chain
- MBA or advance degree preferred
- Dynamic thought leader
- Experience with procurement and supplier accounts management preferred
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
- Ability to effectively and professionally present information one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Strong leadership and the ability to hire, manage and coach a team
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and understand general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, financial reports, legal documents, or governmental regulations
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, vast knowledge of smart phone/tablet operation
