Marketing Intelligence Analyst
TX - Irving
Position Summary:
Primary responsibility for obtaining Market Intelligence by using escalating questions for use in sales and marketing efforts. This position will be responsible for sourcing and identifying new accounts. This position will have general understanding of overall business including market trends and analytics. Provides consulting and interpretation of market and consumer/customer research data to the organization.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Qualify leads and identify decision makers
- Determine buying potential of the prospect
- Conduct independent research
- Call prioritized leads
- Ensure customer follow up via literature, email, call or appointment
- Collaborate with sales team to set appointments between lead and sales
- Contribute to department goals by accurately tracking progress in CRM solution
- Ensure accuracy of customer data in CRM solution
- Responsible for the development and implementation of market research plans and relationships to market research suppliers/partners
- Run queries on own data (Business Object) and performs analysis to support decision making process
- Compiles and deliver business intelligence reports to end users on a regular basis
- Researches information for Sales and marketing teams and other departments
- Provides integrated marketing analytical solutions across customers and channels, contributing to in-market action plans
- Drive deep consumer/customer understanding and ensure all marketing and product management projects are designed with the consumer at the heart
- Build strong relationship with all colleagues from HQ and subsidiaries and with research suppliers to ensure superior service.
Required Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of proven success in Sales B2B Solutions, ideally with experience in prospecting
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports and correspondence
- Ability to effectively and professionally present information one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to work with a variety of mathematical concepts
- Good Microsoft Office skills
Special Requirements, Licenses, or Certificates:
- Ability to engage people over the phone and identify decision makers
- Ability to prioritize schedule while still meeting deadlines
- Thrive in both a team and autonomous environment
- High level of professionalism
- Results driven
- Experience with SalesForce.com software preferred
